Guide to the UK
A multicultural city with Victorian pedigree, Bradford is home to a sizeable Industrial Museum and ‘Horses at work’ attraction. The Leeds-Liverpool canal runs through the city, along which water buses operate. At one point the waterway overcomes a hill through ‘Five Rise Locks’- a wonderful example of eighteenth century vision and workmanship. Bradford also contains the National Museum of Photography, Film and Television, a major tourist attraction; and Bolling hall, a civil war period residence.
