Perth
Perth is situated at the base of the Scottish highlands and is spread out along the river Tay. Its main highlights are the rhododendron nursery at Glendoick gardens, a couple of good galleries and museums, Caithness glass being the best, where you can see displays of paperweight making, there’s also Huntingtower Castle. The centre itself is a typical shopping haven and isn’t over crowded and makes for a pleasant day.
