The vast majority of people that visit Amesbury and surrounding areas do so principally to visit such ancient sites as Stonehenge and the massive Avebury stone circle. There is much else to see and do in the awesome surroundings of Salisbury Plain including the New Forest, Longleat and many other historical houses.
