Newquay

The long, sandy beaches of Newquay have long provided surfers with some of the best and warmest waters in the British Isles. As such the town is home to more than ten surf schools for the outgoing visitor with time and energy to spare. The resort also provides facilities to indulge in other outdoor pursuits such as climbing and abseiling, skateboarding and panning for gold! Those with an abiding interest in animals are also well catered for, as the area is home to the National Seal Sanctuary, as well as Screech Owl and Monkey Sanctuaries, and Newquay Zoo.
