Guide to the UK
Most of Plymouth old parts were ruined in the war except for the Barbican area, thus creating a particularly modern town in most parts. As a busy and vibrant town it has a lot on offer and there’s also plenty of get aways outside the hustle and bustle of the centre. There are several view points from the town and many a little lane to wander down. There are boat trips offered, which are a much more appealing option to the local bus tours. Which nearly all include viewing the Cownhill Fort, the Elizabethan house, Merchants house and the cities museum and art gallery.
